Design and realization of a multifunctional digital showroom for Schüco, an internationally operating system provider for windows, doors and facades.
Not far from Ku’damm, Berlin’s most famous promenade, the existing product showroom was expanded to include a media showroom for partner startups and highlight product ideas. The task was to stage the narrow space with its fully glazed shop window front in such a way that it captivates both in its external effect and in the interior with an extraordinary, versatile staging.
For this purpose, m box developed a sophisticated network of LED elements, which spans over the dark walls and connects with screens partially protruding into the room to a light and media staging. By means of a projection directly onto the window pane by means of a switchable projection foil, the installation is condensed by an additional temporary staging surface.
A variety of interactive animation modules and content templates were designed and programmed for the display. These are completely editable by the customer via a custom content management system and can thus be adapted to different usage scenarios on a daily basis. m box is responsible for the complete realization from concept to room design and construction to media technology implementation.
