Under the lead of zweimaleins GmbH, m box realized a media table with an interactive multitouch application for the exhibition area in the BASF SE visitor center in Ludwigshafen.
The concept and design of the application and user interface was provided by zweimaleins, m box realized the programming of the complex multitouch application which showcases a broad range of BASF information, and also delivered design and concept for the table.
The 2 x 1m large format multitouch display allows up to 6 visitors to access individual content from an BASF data base incorporated in an interactive map of the company premises. The content can be moved across the table by intuitive touch interaction.
Utilizing the innovative technology of token recognition available with the Multitaction Display, a customized presentation mode can be activated for guided tours.
Next to programming the application, m box also developed concept and design of the table furniture. The modular design of the table made out of high quality flame retardant material allows for easy dis- and reassembly in case of location change or for road show purposes.
